It's happening !
We are very excited to welcome you in Patmos to celebrate our union. The wedding will take place in Grikos, the small village where Margot grew up and spent most of her life, on the small island of Patmos, Greece. It will take place the second week of September 2026, where the peak season is over, everything is more relaxed but summer is still here.
On this web site, you will find all the necessary information about the wedding, Patmos, travelling, accommodation and a few tips for your holidays on this beautiful island.
The wedding day will be on Tuesday, September 8th.
5 PM : We will start with the ceremony at the church in Chora (Panajia ton koimitirion).
7 PM : Time to have a drink all together on the beach at the restaurant of Petra, Grikos.
8 PM : Time for Greek food, music, dancing and party.
Program
During the wedding week, we will be organising some activities for which you can join if you are willing to. Those activities are not mandatory and if you would rather do something else and enjoy your holidays in Patmos, you are more than welcome to do so.
Some of them will require signing up and some won't need any special organising but we will let you know in due course.
Sunday, September 6th
Time to settle in, go to the beach, discover Patmos and relax.
Monday, September 7th
Morning visit of Chora and its windmills (10:00 - 12:00)
Greek dance lessons at 17:00 in Onar (15' walk from Grikos)
Tuesday, September 8th
Wedding Day, we will start with the ceremony at 5 PM in Chora.
Wednesday, September 9th
Time to relax. We will leave for the beach of Psili Ammos around 11:30. It's a 45 min walk to get to a remote sandy beach with a small taverna.
Thursday, September 10th
Boat day trip to Arki, a small island with blue lagoons not far from Patmos. A small wind breaker or jacket is recommended.
Friday, September 11th
Last day, free day. For anyone willing to join, we will be on the beach on the Northern side of the island.
Travelling
There is no airport in Patmos. Therefore, you will have to take the ferry from Athens or another island. Here you will find information about how to get to Patmos.

There are a lot of different possibilities when it comes to accommodations in Grikos. Here you will find a list with our recommendations and a short description.
Vacation in Patmos
Because Patmos is located on the far East of the Aegean Sea and is deprived from any airport, it is quite a journey to reach.. Therefore, we highly recommend you to take some holidays and spend a week in Patmos. Here, Margot will share with you some tips as well as some nice things to do and see in order for you to make the most of your holidays.
